The event took place in Mengo, a suburb of Kampala city. About 20 cyclists participated in the event, in which they highlighted their plight as people who overwork but still cannot afford medicines because their trade does not pay much.

HEPS-Uganda and the cyclists were joined by other Stop Stock-out Campaign partners to an activity code named "Raising medicine needs of boda boda cyclists", which also involved cleaning the streets of Mengo town.
