Different activities are underway to celebrate 20 years of HEPS-Uganda’s journey of service.
The Coalition for Health Promotion and Social Development (HEPS – Uganda) was registered as a Non-Governmental Organisation in November 2000.
Over the years, HEPS-Uganda has stood tall as a health and human rights advocacy organization in Uganda and the world over.
According to HEPS-Uganda Executive Director Denis Kibira, “Celebrating HEPS-Uganda @20 anniversary is a great opportunity to thank our staff, volunteers, and the Board for their contribution and recognize them for the achievements.” He adds, “It offers an opportunity for reflection and a looking back at all the challenges that we overcame. This helps invigorate the staff and our partners.”
Today, several activities in different areas are underway and these will culminate into the grand celebration event in June 2021, which will coincide with the inauguration of the new Board and the launch of the new strategic plan.
